Unified Automation at the 2025 Clean Energy Frontier Conference
On October 21 and 22, Unified Automation proudly joined leaders from across the nuclear, municipal, education, business, and community sectors at the Clean Energy Frontier Conference, hosted by the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) in Bruce County. As a Partner Sponsor, Unified Automation was honoured to take part in an event that celebrated collaboration, innovation, and regional leadership in shaping Canada’s clean energy future.
The region is home to Bruce Power, the world’s largest operating nuclear facility and a global leader in medical isotope production. Bruce Power generates about 30 percent of Ontario’s electricity, powering homes, hospitals, and industries across the province while producing life-saving isotopes used in cancer treatment worldwide. Partnering closely with NII, an independent, not-for-profit organization advancing clean energy research, skills development, and innovation across Bruce, Grey, and Huron Counties, the region continues to set the standard for sustainable energy innovation in Canada.
The annual conference brought together more than 150 influential voices to explore the technologies, policies, and partnerships driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. From advancing nuclear innovation and grid modernization to strengthening energy resilience in local communities, the conversations reflected a shared commitment to progress built on collaboration and innovation.

Collaboration That Drives Innovation
This year’s event, led by NII President and CEO Jessica Linthorne, highlighted how the clean energy sector is evolving through partnerships between industry, government, and technology leaders. Unified Automation shares that vision. As a Canadian design-build technology integrator, the company helps organizations connect systems and data to create safer, smarter, and more efficient environments.
The conference also coincided with Bruce Power’s announcement that it will determine the future of its proposed Bruce C Project by 2026, a development that underscores the scale of innovation and long-term investment driving Canada’s energy transition.
Whether through intelligent security networks, centralized control systems, or data-driven infrastructure, Unified Automation’s work supports the same principles discussed at the conference: using technology to enable better decisions, optimize operations, and protect critical assets across the energy sector.

Unified Technology for a Connected Energy Landscape
Clean energy leadership requires more than innovation in generation. It also depends on how organizations manage, monitor, and secure their facilities. Unified Automation’s expertise in security analytics, AV integration, access control, and network infrastructure helps utilities, municipalities, and public institutions modernize their environments with scalable, integrated solutions.
As the energy landscape becomes increasingly interconnected, Unified Automation’s systems enable seamless communication between buildings, devices, and people. From control rooms to data centres, the company helps clients gain real-time insights that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
“We believe the future of clean energy depends not only on how it’s generated, but on how it’s secured, managed, and intelligently integrated. We’re proud to support the Clean Energy Frontier Conference and the innovators shaping a smarter, safer energy landscape.” – Harmeet Brar | Founder & CEO, Unified Automation
A Shared Commitment to Canada’s Energy Future
Unified Automation was proud to connect with leaders like Jessica Linthorne and other members of the NII and Bruce Power communities who are shaping regional and national energy strategies. Their work underscores the importance of collaboration across industries to achieve shared sustainability goals, and it aligns closely with Unified Automation’s mission to empower organizations with smart, secure, and connected technologies.
As Unified Automation continues to expand its footprint across the energy and public infrastructure sectors, the company looks forward to deepening partnerships with institutions like NII, Bruce Power, and other organizations driving Canada’s clean energy future.
